PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN KELUARGA DALAM DETEKSI DINI DIABETIC FOOT ULCER DI KOTA MATARAM

Abstrak: Gangguan sensasi (Neuropati) penderita Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan faktor penyebab terjadinya Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU). New normal pandemic Covid-19 terbatasnya melakukan aktifitas dan kunjungan ke pelayanan kesehatan. Pemeriksaan neurologi di kesehatan memerlukan waktu dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga tidak mau datang untuk memeriksakan kesehatannya. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu keluarga belum tahu gangguan mengenal deteksi dini DFU, resiko komplikasi DM pada masih tinggi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan (1) Memberikan pengetahuan kepada mengenai sensasi; (2) Meningkatkan keterampilan DFU menggunakan Ipswich Touch Test (ITT). Metode digunakan pengabdian berupa penyuluhan pendampingan oleh tim dengan materi Pengenalan Neuropati DM; cara ITT; (3) peralatan ITT. Mitra Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Cakranegara, Tanjung Karang Dasan Agung Kota Mataram. Jumlah peserta sebanyak 45 Kepala Keluarga evaluasi pre-test post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan 2.68 sejumlah 12.24 tentang DPU Sehinga mampu gangguang serta meningkatkan peran perawatan DM.Abstract: Impaired sensation (neuropathy) in people with diabetes mellitus is a factor that causes The new for the limited to activities and visits health services.
